How we started, how we report.
TodayPost was founded in 2009 in a rented office above a coffee shop on Summer Street, Boston. The original team of seven reporters set out to do one thing well: publish stories that named their authors, named their sources where safe to do so, and corrected the record when something turned out to be wrong. Sixteen years later the newsroom has grown to 184 editors and reporters, but the four standards we wrote on the back of a paper menu that first week still run every story on the site.
